Announcing CDC Foundation Request For Proposals

Request For Proposals 

The CDC Foundation issues requests for proposals (RFP) to sub-grant funds received for a specific project. These RFPs will seek:

- providers of products or services required for a specific CDC Foundation program with CDC, or any eligible nonprofit and governmental organizations that wish to participate in a CDC Foundation program addressing a specific health issue.

- a consultant/independent contractor (a sole proprietor, company, nonprofit, etc.) whose services are retained for a specified activity/project during a set time frame. The consultant/independent contractor works independently and is paid according to the terms of the written agreement with the Foundation. The consultant/independent contractor is not an employee of the CDC Foundation.


Federal Grant Management Training Series:

Are you Interested in learning more about federal grants management? This training series is a self-paced course for those interesting in applying for federal funds or those who need a refresher course. In the course, you will learn: 1) federal grant basics; 2) notice of awards, award budget and subrecipients; and 3) federal grant management. You will also receive a certificate of completion.

This training is a collaboration of CDC’s Center for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Support, the Office of Grant Services, Public Health Foundation, and the CDC Foundation.

Public Health Consultant: Partnering for Vaccine Equity (P4VE) Program

The Public Health Consultant will work within the CDC Foundation’s Infectious Diseases Federal Program team to support community-based organizations’ (CBO) programmatic needs and provide targeted, individualized support.

P4VE Public Health Consultant Description

 

Public Health Nurse Consultant: Partnering for Vaccine Equity (P4VE) Program

The Public Health Nurse Consultant will work within the CDC Foundation’s Infectious Diseases Federal Program team to support the Partnering for Vaccine Equity Program (P4VE) team, grant-funded community-based organizations (CBO), and other sub-recipients as the subject matter expert in CDC-recommended adult immunization.

P4VE Program Public Health Nurse Consultant

 

Infection Prevention Control Consultants Request for Information/Sources Sought Notice (RFI/SSN)

The CDC Foundation is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify a pool of pre-qualified individuals from whom we will solicit and select consultants to fulfill future Infection Prevention Control (IPC) consulting projects in up to fifteen low-and middle-income countries that are receiving grants from the Global Fund. Selected consultants will support efforts to strengthen and expand existing IPC programs with a particular focus on project management, monitoring and evaluation, and supply chain management. Respondents to this RFI that are found to be technically capable will be added to a pool of prequalified potential suppliers. As specific consultant projects are identified, the CDC Foundation will release a Request for Applications (RFA) or other solicitation to the list of pre-qualified potential suppliers and select consultants using evaluation criteria specific to each project.

Field Epidemiology Training Program Consultant, Qatar

The CDC Foundation seeks a local consultant for the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Resident Advisor (RA) position. The consultant will be based in Doha, Qatar and will support CDC Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the development and implementation of Qatar’s FETP. CDC Foundation is working with CDC and the Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) to establish an FETP in Qatar focusing on Frontline and Intermediate levels of the program over a period of 3 years. The consultant will collaborate with staff from CDC, the Qatar MOPH, Global Health Development | Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (GHD|EMPHNET) and other local and international partners to establish and implement the program and contribute to increasing the number of trained epidemiologists in Qatar. The RA will provide technical assistance to the MOPH in promoting the institutionalization of the national program. The consultant will be in Qatar and will require significant travel within Qatar, with the possibility of some international travel as well. The consultancy will require approximately 40 hours a week for an estimated 36 months.
