IANPHI links and strengthens government agencies responsible for public health and seeks to improve the world’s health by leveraging the experience and expertise of its member institutes to build robust public health systems. IANPHI boasts 110 members in 95 countries, benefitting more than six billion people on five continents. Their members are national public health institutes, which focus on the major public health problems affecting their country.

With this new role, GHD|EMPHNET and the International Academy of Public Health (IAPH) aim to contribute their expertise and experience from and for the Eastern Mediterranean region and ultimately support global health.
