EMPHNET is pleased to announce its recent membership with the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA). WFPHA mission is focused on protecting people, preventing diseases, and promoting health and wellbeing.

WFPHA has about 130 member organizations from around the world that are mainly national and regional public health associations, public health schools and international partners sharing their values and goals. They focus on advocating for health equity and global policies to improve the health of populations, promoting, supporting, and strengthening member associations, developing, and advancing public health practice, education, training, and research, growing new and strengthening existing partnerships with groups or individuals.

Led by the efforts of WFPHA and its member associations, their projects provide important opportunities for their members to be involved in various activities such as organizing workshops, circulating petitions, coordinating health promotion campaigns, and forging new partnerships with other global health groups.

As a member, EMPHNET participates in various WFPHA meetings and is actively engaged in the International NGOs for COVID-19 Vaccination Equity Group.
